Paul Clein, M.D.,
Medical Director of Recovery Academy
Dr. Clein received his M.D. from
Medical College of Georgia in 1990. He completed his
residency training in general psychiatry at The Johns
Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. While at Johns
Hopkins, Dr. Clein was Chief Resident during his Child &
Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training. Dr. Clein has
been published numerous times and is Board Certified in
Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Clein has
been an attending at Lakeside Behavioral Health System
since 1995. In addition to his inpatient work, Dr. Clein
has a well-established private practice in Memphis, TN.
The
medical staff in Recovery Academy also includes board
certified psychiatrists Hal Brunt, MD, Medical Director
of Lakeside Behavioral Health System, Robert Hoehn, MD,
and Melvin Goldin, MD.
Kip Parrish, Ph.D., Clinical
Director of Recovery Academy
Dr. Parrish received his Ph.D. in
Psychology from Mississippi State University in 1981. He
first began working in the field of addiction at the St.
Joseph Care Unit in 1981 and later was involved in the
Adolescent Chemical Dependency Unit at Lakeside
throughout the 1980’s. During that time, he wrote
numerous professional articles and conducted seminars in
the area of adolescent addiction and co-wrote the book;
Successful Parenting: A New Common Sense Guide to
Raising Your Teenagers, published in 1991 and having
international distribution. He was the Clinical Director
of the Lakeside Adolescent Unit from 1991 to 1998, and
has been the Clinical Director for Memphis Recovery
Center since 2000.
